We're pleased to announce we'll be playing a short tour in February 2012 as we get ready to release the next album. Expect mostly new songs at these shows. We're hitting the final stages of recording so we'll have more details of the new record soon. And probably the odd mp3 as well.

February 2012
23rd - The Hop, Wakefield
24th - Underacheivers @ The Roadhouse, Manchester
25th - ULU, London
26th - Magic Pudding Avenue, Stamford
All dates have advance tickets for sale apart from Manchester, as Underacheivers always do their nights for £4 on the door. Clicking their link will take your to their website anyway, you may be able to barter some kind of paying list. Maybe.
Also, Tell You So will be featured on the soundtrack for the new 20th Century Fox film Chronicle, which you can see the trailer for here:
Yes, we're still here, just neglecting old web technology a bit. If you want more regular updates and news follow our Twitter and Facebook profiles. We've got them on our phones now so the quality might waver a bit.
We're making headway on the new record, with any luck we'll be releasing it early in 2012, though no firm plans yet (not ones we're publishing here anyway). Expect more details and the odd mp3 over the next couple of months.
We're also starting to gig again, so if you're around in Sheffield on the 8th of December we'll be plaing a free show at Bungalows and Bears with support from Victories At Sea. Expect many news songs, which with any luck we might have learned to play by then.
Happy Easter! We brought a gift:
The New Assassin (John Cooper Clarke cover) MP3
We recorded this track a long time ago for a tribute album to John Cooper Clarke, which we think is finally coming out later this year. This was produced by David Jones just after we finished mixing Open Hearts.
We're still working on our new record, nearly three tracks done. Random nonsense and updates to follow on Twitter.
A quick update for the Night & Day show with Day For Airstrikes in aid of the Michael J Fox Foundation. Tickets are available HERE (click). We have it on good authority that there will be a Delorean.
We've also rediscovered the login to the Twitter account so expect more random writing and recording updates and nonesense.

A few things to update, not least that we've started work on a new record. Two songs done, more on the way.
We've got a couple of gigs planned in between carefully recording things then bitcrushing them. First up is Back To The Future Part II, in aid of the Michael J Fox Parkinson's foundation, with the ever-excellent Day For Airstrikes and a DJ set from Dutch Uncles. There might even be a Delorean.
Also we're very excited about what some old Friends Of Mine have planned for summer. No idea about stage times, or even which day we're playing, but at some point over the weekend of the 20th of May we'll be making noise at this festival.
Tickets are on sale now through fomfest.com (click here or the poster for more information).

Athens was awesome, thanks a lot to everyone involved with the Plissken Festival, hopefully we'll see you in 2011! Thanks also to the people who braved the freezing Manchester weather for the Star & Garter gig.
We'll see you next year, we're getting back to working on the songs for the next record. Hope you enjoyed the new songs at the gigs, we'll have more for you soon. With added Moog.
Hey. We should probably have updated this before now (though you're probably all on Facebook so this is old news), but we're playing our first Greek show in Athens on December 4th. Loads of details including our attempts at video ID's available through this link: www.plisskenfestival.com
As a warm-up we're playing the Star & Garter on December 2nd, expect a bit of messing about with new tunes and old, old tunes. Because the Garter is old-school you can't order tickets online, but you can reserve tickets by emailing bookings@thelongcut.com.
Hello. We're working hard on writing and demos, with any luck we'll be trying some things out live and maybe on record towards the end of the year.
Also, all three of us have been helping out at one point or another on the new King Tree record. Which you can download 3 tracks of by clicking on this link.
