We just realised how goddamn long it is since we updated this. We're currently in the final stage of mixing the new album with album producer David Jones (from Nine Black Alps), and within the next two weeks we'll finally have finished the bastard (honest)!
We also have a Flickr group, to go with our new Facebook page, so we've just about caught up to 2007 with our online presence. Twitter will follow in 2012.
As a welcome distraction, we've also been asked to contribute to Evidently Chickensounds, a tribute to Manchester poet John Cooper Clarke, which is being assembled by Fat Northerner Records. Our version of his 1982 song The New Assassin will appear on the album, which'll be accompanied by a book, documentary and hopefully some sort of live shindig. For more details see here.
As soon as we have any definite dates for releases, gigs, or any other kind of news we'll let you know!
Merry Christmas!
Our new album will be released by Manchester's finest indie, Melodic, early in the new year. This will be our second release with Melodic, following their limited 7' of Idiot Check/You Got the Love last year.
Just to update anyone who doesn't know, we finished recording the album last month, and now we're deciding who will be mixing it, and also other important things like touring plans, artwork, image consultants and hair product sponsors.
Hello. We've nearly recorded most of whatever turns out to be album no. 2 (we think). Things are going pretty well, apart from the sore fingers and head colds. More random photos of microphones ad cables are on our Myspace (click).

Our version of You Got The Love is being included on a new compilation encouraging voter registration, targeted at students and other impressionable youngsters. If you're a student in Manchester you might find the CD in the deluge of freshers stuff you're being handed, which apart from our good selves features the likes of The Beep Seals, Jim Noir, and The Loungs.
